you read about the SpreadFire® trailer design, please be
aware that I will design and build most any type of trailer
you might need. StarFire is now building
aluminum
trailers.

StarFire Trailer Systems, the ONLY custom pyrotechnics launch
trailer builder in America, is ready to build your mobile
shooting platform, whether it is a standard deck-over, a low
profile, or one based on my exclusive "SpreadFire®"
design, something I thought of over 25 years ago.
This design allows you to shoot shells in a
vertical-only trajectory, or shoot vertical, right, and left.
You can literally "fill the sky" from one
trailer. I thought of
this design as a way to compensate for wind, fill more sky
from a small launch footprint or, by using two or more
trailers, to provide many design options when planning your
display choreography. The
animation above-left shows the basic SpreadFire design. Please
notice that each pivot deck can be individually adjusted to
suit various needs at any given shoot site.

I do not "pre-build" generic-size
assemblies. All
trailers are built to the size and configuration you require.
I offer standard features and options you will not
find on standard production trailers, all of which cater
specifically to the Pyrotechnic industry, such as fold-down
catwalks, corner jacks, and frame crossmembers on 12 or 16
inch centers. Pictures of these options can be seen on the
Photos Page. Most of
my designs use dual axles, and my current size range is from
12 feet to 30 feet, but up to 48 foot units are possible.

I have a
combined welding, mechanical, and fabrication experience of
over 35 years. I take
great pride in every aspect of my work, my products, and every
weld I make. I have
over ten years experience as a government, x-ray certified welder, so you won’t see any
"production-type" welds on our trailers.
I basically hand craft each and every trailer I make,
to make StarFire Trailers the premier Pyro trailer builder in
the country. That's not
just a dream, but a goal of mine. My change to making aluminum
pyro trailers is another step towards that goal.
StarFire
Trailer Systems designs trailers for use with the "Pyro-Pod"
mortar units available through Pyromaster
LLC,
and we can design the trailer using a floor-mounted chain-pull
system, so you can load the pods without using a forklift.
Rest assured that no matter what your rack
configuration or size, I design trailers using the dimensions
of the racks you use, giving you the maximum number of mortars
possible on the available deck size.
